    A. All of our cabins are set up so that we can allow you to check in yourself without wasting valuable vacation time coming to an office and going thru the process. After a reservation is made, we will send you a confirmation that you sign and send back to us, we will then provide directions to the cabin and after final payment is received, we will give you key code(s) to use to check in directly at your cabin.  Many cabins are in gated communities and gate codes are also required to enter.
  13. Can you fish in this lake and is a license required?
    A. Yes there is some great fishing on Douglas Lake. There are several species of fish. A license is required for fishing. You can visit this website to get more detailed information about licenses and requirements @ http://www.state.tn.us/twra/fish/fishmain.html

Due to the nature of Douglas Lake being a reservoir lake the water levels flucuate regularly. All our docks are easily movable back and forth. During your stay it may be necessary for you to push or pull the dock to keep them floating. There is no possibility we can be at all the cabin to keep this done when it can as quickly as it does.  Again, these are easily movable and normally one person can do it themselves.
